For your convenience, we have provided resources to assist you in planning your Cabo trip, as well as miscellaneous information that may be of interest to you.
Blarney Castle Inn
General Conduct: Blarney Castle Inn is for its guests to enjoy in the Cabo spirit, but loud parties, "Spring Break" sheninigans, and other activity that will disturb the Castle's desert mountain tranquility are not allowed.
Pool and Grounds: Children under fourteen must be accompanied by an adult at the pool and around the Castle grounds.
Drinking Water: Municipal water is used for bath and shower. It is best to avoid drinking water from the tap. Each suite is equipped with bottled purified water for drinking and cooking. The refrigerator/freezer provides ice.
Dining: Our new onsite restaurant, Brennan's Bar and Grill, is now open. Hotel guests will receive a voucher for a complimentary breakfast at the restaurant, and are also eligible for a 10% discount on any other Brennan's Bar and Grill purchases. (*Restrictions apply; please inquire for details.)

Transportation from SJD International Airport: Shuttle and bus services are readily available from the airport (about $12 US per person). The shuttles go to all of the major hotels, and will take an hour and a half to reach the Castle. Private taxis may cost more (about $__US) but will save you time.
For an additional $40.00 USD per person (added to your hotel bill), we will arrange for your transport from the Los Cabos airport to the Castle and back to the airport. If you choose this option, please provide us with your flight information, as well as the names of all guests traveling, including the ages of all children. Look for our Castle logo, and this way you are guaranteed to arrive in front our our hotel.

Local Transportation in Cabo San Lucas: We recommend taking a taxi from town up the mountain to the Blarney Castle Inn. It will cost about $__US, and takes about 5 minutes. Taking a taxi is actually a better value than the bus system. When going downtown from the Castle, you may walk; it is only a 10-minute downhill stroll to town.
Electrical Outlets: The electric current at the Blarney Castle Inn is the U.S. standard 120V AC. There is no need for plug adapters or current converters to use your blowdryers, electric razors, laptop computers.
Cabo San Lucas
The following sections contain information that may be of value before
you take your trip to Cabo.
Climate and Weather: Los Cabos is the only truly tropical region in Baja, sitting south of the Tropic of Cancer. Lying in a desert region, the climate is dry, and most days are hot and sunny with low humidity. It is sunny about 350 days of the year, with temperatures averaging in the low 80s. Average highs in the Spring and Fall are in the mid 80s, while reaching the mid 90s during the Summer months. The highs during the Winter average in the mid 70s. Being desert, prepare for a drastic temperature drop in the evening during the Winter months (lows in the 60s), and plan on wearing a jacket or sweater during the evening. The climate of Los Cabos has been compared to that of Palm Springs, California.

Sport Fishing: From Blarney Castle Inn it is a quick five-minute downhill ride to the main fishing docks. Roll out of bed and be at the docks in minutes. The Castle will arrange early morning transportation for you. Guests' fishing gear can be kept in the suite or at the secure and locked garage-level fishing gear storage room.
Fillet and barbecue your catch at the Castle's spacious outdoor poolside cooking area with its wood-burning barbecue. Trade fishing tales at the bar or in the pool as you and your friends (or the Castle chef) cook up the catch you brought back to the Castle!
Water Sports: Wave runners, banana boats, and other watercraft are available at Medano Beach, 10 minutes from the Castle. Swimming and snorkeling are best at Chilleno and Santa Maria.
World-Class Golf: Cabo is known for its world-class golf courses. Tee times and transportation will be taken care of by the Castle staff.
Hiking/Biking: Adjacent to the Castle are walking and mountain bike trails with spectacular views.
